Masataka Hayakawa has been a partner at Atsumi & Sakai since 2015. He concentrates on corporate regulatory compliance and investigations, corporate risk and crisis management, corporate governance and white-collar criminal defense, data protection and cyber security, and litigation and dispute resolution.
He leads the Risk Management Practice Group that focuses on crisis management and advises many Japanese and non-Japanese companies on the creation, protection and restoration of their business value and reputation.
Mr Hayakawa previously worked as a public prosecutor for 14 years and entered private practice in 2014. He is also a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE Japan).
