Dr. Wolfgang Schubert is a partner at BLS Attorneys at Law. He has gained experience in more than 3,000 court and arbitral proceedings. He is highly respected among lawyers and was a legal representative in both the Kaprun and BAWAG cases, both cases being among the largest ever to go to trial in Austria. He is an expert in civil and criminal law matters concerning technical damages and/or economic disputes especially in regards to the Stock Corporation Act, Liability Companies Act and the Austrian Banking Act.

Aside from his focal points, such as Tort Law, Warranty Law and Law on Product Liability, where Dr. Schubert is focusing on technical cases of damage, he is very invested in professional liability law disputes. As an experienced professional, who has the necessary specific knowledge, he represents auditors, tax accountants, as well as lawyers and authorized experts, and is dedicated in handling the issues these professionals face.

Even though the main focus of our law firm is to help clients avoid litigation, as an experienced and highly-skilled in handling medical liability cases, Wolfgang Schubert represents our clients out of court as a patients’ ombudsman but also before conciliation committees and courts.

Dr. Schubert who also leads the litigation practice group, has a winning track record in representing our clients in their most critical arbitration and litigation disputes. In the legal field of Insurance law, Dr. Schubert has vast experience throughout Austria in respect of various disputes, including but not limited to recourse. Wolfgang Schubert has been working for BLS Rechtsanwälte since 1987 and in 1994 he became partner at the firm. Dr Schubert lectured at the Vienna Stock Exchange and the Vienna University of Economy and delivers practical training seminars for technicians.

Dr Wolfgang Schubert has been a registered lawyer since 1993. He graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Vienna.
