JUDr. Tatiana Brichtová

Tatiana Brichtová is a co-founder partner of the law firm Brichta & Partners and manages the intellectual property department consisting of four expert teams. At the same time, she leads an IP registration team consisting of 10 members. With more than 35 years of experience, she is one of the most important experts in the field of intellectual property in Slovakia. Already in the 1990s, she was at the birth of the IP specialization in Slovak advocacy and is still perceived as one of its pioneers. Under her leadership, the firm and its clients have achieved many successes both nationally and internationally. Over the years, she has managed to build an erudite team of experts who are part of four teams within a unique IP One-Stop Shop concept that provides clients with a strategic, comprehensive, and practical view of the protection of their intellectual property across all phases of their business.

‍She graduated from the Faculty of Law of Comenius University in Bratislava with honors and a red diploma in 1986, thus obtaining the title of JUDr. After the establishment of the independent Slovak Republic in 1993, she passed patent examinations before the Industrial Property Office of the Slovak Republic, with the right to represent Slovak and foreign clients. In the field of intellectual property rights she became a pioneer in Slovakia as one of the first attorneys to provide legal services in the protection of intellectual property rights and participated in the development of jurisprudence in this area.
