Thierry Nguia

Thierry Nguia is the Managing Partner at Cabinet Nguia, assisting multinational companies on commercial and corporate, labor, as well as regulatory matters in Gabon. Thierry's work includes counseling clients in litigation cases, from the pre-litigation phase to court hearings and out-of-court negotiations; including company registrations, contract reviews, employee dismissal procedures, licensing approvals etc. He also represents clients at any meetings with local administrative institutions and Ministries. 

The member of the Miranda Alliance in Gabon is Cabinet Nguia full-practice Gabonese law office headquartered in Libreville. Cabinet Nguia is headed by Thierry Nguia, a member of the Gabonese bar who has been assisting clients on commercial, corporate, regulatory, labor and litigation (from the pre-litigation phase to court hearings) matters in Gabon for many years. Cabinet Nguia has recently opened an office in Port-Gentil, the center of the oil industry in Gabon. Thierry Nguia and most of our other colleagues in Gabon are based in Libreville, but are fully available to travel to Port-Gentil on an as-needed basis and make regular visits to the Port-Gentil office.

All work performed by Cabinet Nguia’s staff for Miranda Alliance’s clients in Gabon is supported and done in close collaboration with the Gabon Practice Group based in Lisbon, which includes five fee earners exclusively dedicated to Gabon, including lawyers who have lived and worked in Gabon. The Lisbon-based Gabon Practice Group also handles all work that can be performed outside the country, especially complex work requiring in-depth research or specific expertise. Miranda lawyers from other practice groups are also involved in work on Gabonese matters on an as-needed basis and in accordance with their respective area of expertise.
