Catherine Cathiard has worked within major law firms in France (including Gide, Freshfields, Skadden Arps, Jeantet, Fidal) and in Luxembourg (such as Jeantet, Wildgen) for commercial and industrial companies, as well as CEOs.
She is a former member of the think tank supporting Senators Jean-Guy Branger and Jean-Jacques Hyest, President of the Law Commission of the French Senate, which led to the draft bill dated January 19th 2004, European Company (SE): Implementation into French Law of EC Regulation n°2157/2001 and Directive n°2001/86/CE.
Meanwhile, Catherine publishes research texts, hosts conferences and is a recognised expert in company law for the Committee on Legal Affairs of the European Parliament, as well as for the European Commission.
