Mauricio De Figueiredo Corrêa Da Veiga

Mauricio Corrêa da Veiga is the Sports Law’s Committee’s President of the Brazilians Lawyers’ Institute (IAB) and Clube de Regatas Vasco da Gama soccer team’s legal director. He is also the partner of Corrêa da Veiga Law Firm and Sports Law’s National Committee’s Vice President. Mauricio operates directly in labour courts and on the Supreme Court in Brazil. His law firm offers preventive legal advices for companies that want to hire new employees.

Mauricio holds a graduate degree in Labour Law from Cândido Mendes University (UCAM) in Rio de Janeiro. He is a member of the Brasilia’s Labour Law Academy. Now, Mauricio is working towards a doctoral degree in Sports Law in Lisbon (Portugal). He is the legal advisor to more than ten Brazilian soccer teams.
