Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the Catholic University of São Paulo – PUC/SP School of Law; LL.M in Trade Regulation at New York School of Law; Master Degree at PUC-SP in Commercial Law; PhD at PUC-SP in International Economic Relations Law. Professor of Commercial Law at PUC/SP School of Law (São Paulo, Brazil); Professor of the specialization course in Banking Law and at Fundação Getúlio Vargas School of Law (GV Law, Sao Paulo, Brazil); Professor of the specialization course in Debt Restructuring at Fundação Getúlio Vargas School of Law (GV Law, Sao Paulo, Brazil) and Professor of Financial Market Regulation LLM at INSPER/SP.

Author of various books and articles in connection with Bankruptcy law, Banking Law, Debt restructuring and other commercial law and corporate matters. Professor who created the Banking Law On-Line Course at FGV-RJ. Author of the book “Responsabilidade Civil dos Administradores de Bancos Comerciais –Tort Liability of Commercial Banks” (Editora Revista dos Tribunais, 2002); Direito e Política da Concorrência para Países em Desenvolvimento - Law and Competition Policy for Developing Countries (Lex Editora, 2006). Organizer of the book Contratos Bancários- Bank Contracts, (Quartier Latin, 2006). Works with the areas of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, banking law, debt restructuring and contracts.

Some notable work carried out in the last 12 months in the insolvency field: (i) Paraíso Bioenergia out of court reorganization and Investment by a private equity fund - counsel to Paraiso; (ii) Albertina’s sugar cane acquisition by LDC Sev (Louis Dreyfus) in a judicial recovery procedure counsel to LDC SEV; (iii) IMCOPA out of court reorganization – counsel to creditors Santander and Credit Suisse; (iv) BRASFUMO judicial recovery procedure - counsel to creditor Banif; (v) Acquisition of DASLU in judicial recovery procedure - counsel to the investor LAEP Group.
