Krishna Ramachandra is a broad-based corporate finance lawyer concentrating in M&A and capital markets, investment funds/private equity and Islamic finance law. Currently, he heads Duane Morris & Selvam's corporate finance and investment funds practice groups.

Mr. Ramachandra advises issuers, funds, investment banks, listed and private companies in Asia, Europe and the United States on a wide range of equity and debt securities issuances and compliance and regulatory matters, as well as on mergers, acquisitions and takeovers, including reverse takeovers. He is regularly cited by various publications as a leading lawyer and has been named by Asia Law Leading Lawyers as one of the most highly recommended Asia-Pacific-focussed lawyers in the practice areas of Capital Markets and Corporate Finance. The IFLR1000 also recognized Mr. Ramachandra for his expertise in the practice area of Islamic Finance in Singapore.

Mr. Ramachandra graduated from Christ's College, Cambridge University with an LL.M. in Corporate Finance on a Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer scholarship. He did his articles with Freshfields in London and qualified with Freshfields. Prior to his current role, Mr. Ramachandra practised with Clifford Chance in Singapore in the Capital Markets and Corporate M&A team covering the south and southeast Asia regions.

Mr. Ramachandra is an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore and is also a Solicitor of England and Wales. He sits on The Singapore Law Society's Corporate Practice Committee for Mergers & Acquisitions and Insolvency; Corporate Commercial Matters; and Listing Matters.
