Guillermo García Montúfar

Mr. García Montúfar is the head of the real estate department of the firm. As such, he has been the principal outside counsel of several prominent entities that deal with real estate investment in Peru and property formalization programs in Peru other countries, such as El Salvador, Haiti, Mexico, Egypt, and Tanzania. He has counseled the Ministry of Justice in topics of mediation and reconciliation, and he counsels the World Bank and the Institute of Liberty and Democracy (ILD) in the areas of administrative and civil law, among others.

He has also provided specialized legal counsel to one of the most prominent entities in real estate investment in Peru, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the Mormon Church), which frequently acquires tracts of land for its institutional purposes, requiring prior evaluation and clearance of the respective legal titles.
