Nodir Yuldashev has graduated from the university of Durham in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in Commercial law and from the University of Westminster in 2017 with a master’s degree in International Commercial law. Before joining GRATA Nodir Yuldashev worked as head of legal department at Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry and senior lawyer at the Bankruptcy Committee. Nodir has consecutive twenty years of experience in advising a wide array of international and local clients on Uzbekistan investment, construction and general business law matters. He is an active arbitrator at the Arbitration Court under Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and a frequent guest at various international conferences, webinars and universities. Nodir has published over twenty articles for international magazines and participated in publishing over five international legal books.

Latest projects in construction and infrastructure include:

• Advising China Gezhouba Group in a turn-key EPC contractor to ACWA power project related to construction of 1,5 MWt ccombined cycle Syrdarya TES power plant;
• Assistance to METKA, a subcontractor to Total Eren in an EPC project for design, construction and operation of a solar plant station. Our work constitutes on-going regular advisory services in respect of organizing design, procurement and construction works as well as responding to any Uzbekistan law queries arising from the daily activities;
• Advising BNBM Group in building a construction materials manufacturing plant in Ferghana region;
• Providing legal and tax consultancy services for PAO Silovie Mashini in a multimillion dollar project related to modernization and construction of two hydro electric power stations Shirin GRES and Farkhad GRES on Shirin river in Syradrya region;
• Advising Japanese Hitachi-Zosen Corporation on issues related to entering into EPC (FIDIC) contract for construction of LTFT reactor for “Uzbekistan-GTL” JV LLC, a project over 100 mln. US dollars.

Rustam Akramov, council
Rustam Akramov has graduated form the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in 2007 with a bachelors degree in International law and from the University of Durham in 2009 with a master’s degree in International Commercial law. Before joining GRATA Rustam Akramov has worked as head of legal department at the Foreign Trade Companies under the Ministry for Foreign economic relations, investments and trade of Uzbekistan. During his work at GRATA Rustam has gained considerable experience in international and domestic investment, trade and construction projects. Rustam is an arbitrator at the Arbitration Court under Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan. Rustam has published over ten articles for international magazines and participated in publishing two international legal books.
