Andrew Cotton

Andrew Cotton is a corporate lawyer specialising in cross-border transactions. He assists foreign multinationals with the legal issues arising from their Finnish investment, acquisition or market entry activities. Andrew has experience of advising overseas clients in a range of different sectors such as technology, software, mobile, pharma and healthcare, renewable energy, retail and manufacturing.    Examples of recent work include advising a major Asian electronics manufacturer on the opening of its Finnish R&D facility, concluding a major joint venture for a US private equity backed wind developer for the development of a significant portfolio of wind farms around Finland and advising a NASDAQ-listed client on the commencement of their data centre operations in Finland. Andrew is qualified in both Finland and England and is a native English speaker, an advantage when drafting documentation in English.
