He has  extensive experience in organisational restructuring, business health check, tax, budgeting, business plans,  due diligence, and shipping. He is one of the Founding Partners of M/s Mathew & Thankachan Chartered Accountants, Kozhikode – Kerala, India established in 1988. He was with United Arab Shipping Company (UASC) before joining HALSCA.
