Mr. Murat Idal is the founder and active member of many national and international organizations in Intellectual Property ecosystem. As a founder of Idal IP & Law Group and Licensing Executives Society Turkey (LES Turkey), he serves as a president of both organizations. Last year, he has been elected as a committee member to International Trademark Association (INTA).
He advises international clients on all areas of intellectual property protection; mainly trademarks, patents, IP management & commercialization with legal view of licensing agreements and IP litigation issues.
Upon studied advance level IP courses provided by WIPO & LESI in Auckland (NZ) & San Diego (USA) he has become one of the few certified IP100 lecturer in Turkey.
Murat is a registered trademark and patent attorney along with his duties as an expert witness before Turkish IP Courts.
He has got numerous articles on the Turkish IP system, mainly trademark disputes, protection of well-known trademarks, court cases and attended many national and international seminars as a speaker.
Mr Idal is recognized as a leading IP Person in all aspects of IP & Licensing sessions in Turkey. He has handled numerous complex commercial and IP litigation cases.
