Mohamed Ibrahim is a seasoned lawyer with extensive experience at several top-tier law firms in Egypt. He joined Ibrachy & Dermarkar in 2014 and has since become a key member of the firm’s litigation and employment practices. His expertise spans a wide array of legal disciplines, with a particular focus on labour and employment matters, real estate and lease disputes, social insurance regulations, as well as corporate legal affairs.
Within the Employment Department, Mr Ibrahim plays a leading role in advising clients on a range of strategic employment and HR-related issues, including:
• Social Insurance & Benefits: Offering both procedural and advisory support, Mr Ibrahim helps clients navigate Egypt’s social insurance framework, aligning compliance strategies with organisational priorities.
• Management Compensation: He supports clients in structuring and managing executive employment contracts, with particular attention to compensation and benefit schemes.
• Human Resources Support: Mr Ibrahim provides ongoing legal counsel to HR departments, ensuring smooth handling of employee relations, regulatory compliance and operational risks.
• Internal Investigations: With the introduction of internal investigations as a unique offering by Ibrachy & Dermarkar’s Employment Department,
Mr Ibrahim contributes to fact-finding processes critical to litigation readiness. In a legal system where discovery procedures are limited, this work plays a vital role in shaping case strategy. Ibrachy & Dermarkar was the first firm in Egypt to formalise this service, and Mr Ibrahim is instrumental in assessing legal relevance, sourcing evidence and supporting high-stakes dispute preparation.
