He graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador in 1978.
He has a wide experience on counselling and litigating for various national and international enterprises in Labour and Civil matters. His expertise is complex individual cases and union negotiations. He served as alternate State Judge, alternate Supreme Court Judge and President of the Bar Association where he implemented the first program to provide free legal counselling to low income citizens.
Currently, he serves as professor of Procedural Law at Universidad San Francisco de Quito, arbitrator at the Quito Commerce Chamber, Ecuadorian American Commerce Chamber and at the CIAM.
