Tom Longstaff
Tom Longstaff brings a wealth of experience to KP Law’s product liability practice.
As a qualified solicitor and barrister, Mr Longstaff has appeared in the High Court in numerous complex and high-value claims. His extensive background includes acting in appeals before the English appellate courts, as well as handling insolvency litigation.
His career trajectory includes training as a solicitor at DLA Piper in Leeds, followed by a tenure at Magic Circle firm Linklaters.
Mr Longstaff’s significant experience in group litigation is evident in his involvement in several major cases, having been instrumental in a high-profile Renault diesel emissions claim, among others. His expertise further extends to emissions group actions involving Volkswagen, Mercedes and other manufacturers, and he has also been involved in international litigation – including representing businesses affected by the collapse of the Fundão Dam in Brazil.
