Janet King

King Law Office is located on the island of Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands. Janet King's practice includes civil litigation and criminal defense, and immigration law. Prior to opening her law office, Janet was an Assistant Public Defender with the Office of the CNMI Public Defender, where she represented indigent criminal defendants in local court. Janet was also Staff Attorney at the Commonwealth Law Revision Commission, CNMI Judiciary, where she was responsible for assisting in the production, publication, and revision of the Northern Marianas Islands Commonwealth Code, Northern Mariana Islands Administrative Code, and the Northern Mariana Islands Reporter.

Janet graduated with her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Nebraska College of Law, and earned her Master's degree in political science from the University of Nebraska Graduate School at the same time. She is a graduate of Wellesley College and Notre Dame High School. Janet is a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association, the Guam Bar Association, the CNMI Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

Janet lives on Saipan and Tinian with her husband, an officer in the U.S. Army, and their two children.
