Helga Lopes Ribeiro is a managing partner at MGRA Advogados – an independent full-service law firm established in 2004 with office in central Lisbon, focused on the areas of law that are critical to business: corporate and commercial, tax, finance, regulatory, real estate, labour, IP and litigation. With its multi-lingual and multi-qualified lawyers and professionals organized in specialized divisions, MGRA Advogados has substantial experience in facilitating cross-border activities for a diverse mix of companies, as well as entrepreneurs, ultra-high-net-worth individuals, and family offices.

During her Lawyer’s career of nearly twenty-five years, Helga Lopes Ribeiro has been practicing corporate and commercial law as the Head of this division at MGRA Advogados since 2006, with a particular emphasis on incorporation, acquisitions, mergers, de-mergers, and joint ventures of companies and investment funds, and also advising on intellectual property and data privacy laws matters.

Prior to joining MGRA Advogados, Helga Lopes Ribeiro was a Legal Consultant at Mazars Group (1998), Associate Lawyer at Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira Law Firm (2000), and in-house Lawyer at Liberty Mutual Group (2004).

She has received several Law industry awards and distinctions (Chambers and Partners, The Legal 500, IFLR1000).
