Ruthven Gemmell is a dual qualified solicitor (Scotland and England & Wales) based in Edinburgh, Scotland. He is FCA qualified to provide wealth management services, including portfolio management and financial planning, and is expert in asset protection, estate planning, trust structures, investment management and tax. He specialises in advising high-net-worth private clients, domiciled in Scotland, England or internationally, in relation to complex matters including those with a cross border or international component.

Ruthven is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and holds a Diploma in Financial Planning with the Personal Finance Society. He is ranked as a Leading Individual by The Legal 500 UK, 2021, and was recognised as one of the Fifty Most Influential Individuals, in 2019, by the Private Asset Managers (PAM).
