Our practice encompasses the submission of merger filings before Brazilian antitrust authorities and the representation of companies and individuals in administrative procedures regarding anticompetitive conducts (cartel investigations, abuse of dominant position, tie-in arrangements, vertical agreements, etc.).

We are also experienced in representing companies and individuals before all the Brazilian Courts, working on the clients' judicial defenses concerning antitrust/competition matters and also on reviews of antitrust authorities' decisions, whenever it is necessary.

The founding partner, Mrs. Natália Oliveira Felix, LLB (Sao Paulo Catholic University Law School), holds a Specialization Degree in Economic Law at Getúlio Vargas Foundation in São Paulo and has been recognized by respected international publications as one of the most specialized attorneys in competition law in Brazil.

Mrs. Oliveira Felix has extensive experience in dealing with Brazilian competition authorities which was developed during the past years. As a matter of fact, she has been involved in the defense of companies and individuals in many of the cartel investigations currently being handled by local enforcement, in sectors such as hydrogen peroxide, industrial gases, blood components, electrical equipment, generic drugs, steel components, plastic recipients, public bids, construction and chlorine.

She has also been recently involved in relevant merger notifications submitted in Brazil regarding sectors such as sanitation, energy, food, construction, IT services, recorded music, chemicals and electronic equipment.

In view of her prior experience in litigation, she is experienced at the clients’ representation not only before the antitrust administrative bodies, but also before all the Brazilian courts, working on the clients’ judicial defenses concerning antitrust matters and also on reviews of antitrust authorities’ decisions, whenever it is necessary.

Moreover, Mrs. Oliveira Felix has written in a significant number of antitrust issues concerning Brazil, being a co-author of the Brazil chapters in "The Public Competition Enforcement Review" (edited by Shaun Goodman, LBR, 2009, 2010 and 2011 editions), co-author of the book "Desafios Atuais da Regulação Econômica e Concorrência" (2010, edited by Ed. Atlas), and co-author of the book “Concentração de Empresas no Direito Antitruste Brasileiro” (2012, edited by Ed. Singular).
