Wendy Warren

Wendy Warren, a Director of Onyx Partners in The Bahamas, was recognised as the Wealth Management & Fiduciary Advisory Expert of the Year in The Bahamas at the 2024 Corporate INTL Global Awards. A chartered accountant with more than three decades of experience in wealth management and fund administration, she is one of the jurisdiction's most prominent figures in international financial services.

Warren is a founder and Director of Onyx Partners Ltd., an independent, international fiduciary company that she established in 2019 to round out the service offering of the wider Caystone Group, of which she is Founder and Managing Director, by adding full trust services. Onyx Partners provides fiduciary and wealth-structuring services to internationally mobile families and institutions, complementing the corporate and fund administration capabilities of the group. The combination allows clients to draw on trust, corporate services and administration under a single, independent umbrella.

Her career reflects an unusually broad engagement with the Bahamian financial sector. Before establishing Caystone, Warren spent eleven years as Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of the Bahamas Financial Services Board, the industry body that works with government, regulators and private industry to promote The Bahamas as a provider of best-in-class financial services. In that role she helped shape the jurisdiction's positioning and its response to a changing international regulatory environment, giving her a rare vantage point across both the commercial and policy dimensions of the sector.

Warren is a chartered accountant who holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Waterloo in Canada and has undertaken postgraduate study in corporate governance at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. She has served as a director on numerous boards and committees, including Bahamasair Holdings, the Bahamas Electricity Corporation, the Bahamas Trade Commission, the Financial Services Consultative Forum and the Bahamas Association of Mutual Fund Administrators, underlining her contribution to the governance of national institutions as well as private enterprises.
