Virginia B. Viray heads PJS Law’s Tax Group and co-heads its Mergers and Acquisitions Group. She is also a highly regarded lawyer in the Philippines in the fields of Banking and Capital Markets. She is a member of the Philippine Bar and a certified public accountant. Prior to joining PJS Law, she served as a revenue officer of the Bureau of Internal Revenue, and as legislative assistant to the Secretary of the Department of Finance. She is a professor of Taxation Law at the University of the Philippines College of Law.
