Marián Slivovič

Marián has been with the Penta group since 2005. Currently he heads Penta activities in the banking and the meat-processing sectors. In banking he leads the Prima banka Slovensko, with the complex services for private, corporate and municipal clients. In meat-processing he heads Penta's international meat-producers holding Mecom Group, with the presence in Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary.

He was also involved in the privatisation of the Košice Airport, the owner and operator of Slovakia's second largest airport. The company was privatised by the Two One consortium, a group comprising Vienna International Airport, Penta and RZB. In 2008 Penta sold its share to Vienna International Airport.

Marián is a graduate of the Ostrava Technical University.

In today’s environment, only best-in-class performance will lead to success. Our resources need to be deployed with focus. Therefore, we are moving towards a smaller number of companies in our portfolio, but ones that are larger and with a longer investment horizon of 10 years or more.

We operate mainly in the CEE region (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Germany).
