Brenda Hebert

Brenda Hebert Toronto Law Practice Brenda Hebert is a senior partner in Stikeman Elliott's commercial real estate practice, which she headed from 1988 to 1999. She is an active member of the Banking and Financial Institutions Group, the Public-Private Partnership Group and the Energy Group. Ms. Hebert's practice is built on extensive experience in a wide variety of real estate transactions including commercial real estate financing, structuring and developing new projects, commercial leasing, and conventional purchases and sales of real property. She acts for developers and lenders with respect to non-utility generation projects and has an extensive practice around the bulk sale, purchase and financing of real estate assets. Professional Activities Ms. Hebert is a member of the Association of Power Producers of Ontario and Toronto CREW. She recently retired from the board of Toronto CREW where she held the office of Secretary. She has participated as a speaker and panellist at conferences on non-utility generation and real estate related matters. She has been active on the boards of a number of not-for-profit organizations, most recently Toronto CREW and Belmont House. Ms. Hebert is also a member of Women Gaining Ground, a group of women executives who responded to the United Way's 2007 Losing Ground research report. Members of Women Gaining Ground provide financial support and volunteer hours and expertise to help single parent families gain ground through education and employment.
