Dr. Tobias Stammberger

Dr. Tobias Stammberger, a partner at Samson & Partner Patentanwälte mbB in Munich, has been named Intellectual Property Advisory Expert of the Year in Germany at the Corporate INTL Global Awards 2025. A German patent attorney, European patent attorney and European trademark and design attorney, he combines rigorous scientific training with more than two decades of experience protecting and enforcing intellectual property on behalf of German and international clients.

Dr. Stammberger's academic background is unusually strong even by the standards of the patent profession. He earned a physics diploma with honours from the Technical University of Munich, a master's in physics from the University of Bordeaux, and completed a doctorate summa cum laude at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich.
