H.-Peter Staudt, Dipl.-Ing., LL.M., a German and European Patent, Trademark and Design Attorney, has founded the firm in 1993. Prior to his practice as a patent attorney, Mr Staudt had worked for about ten years as a mechanical engineer developing high-performance and race engines including Formula One race engineers at BMW Motorsport GmbH where he had been in charge of a Formula One team.

He is an author of articles in IP journals, a frequent lecturer on IP topics before organisations in various countries and he also had been a Patent Attorney Examiner appointed by the German Ministry of Justice as a member of the German Patent Attorney Examination Commission.
