Benoît Tshibangu Ilunga, Founding Partner, brings more than two decades’ legal experience to the firm. He holds a Master of Laws from UPC and a postgraduate degree from UNIKIN. As an attorney-at-law and registered mining and quarrying agent, Mr Tshibangu specialises in mining, tax, commercial, corporate, environmental, telecoms, insurance, forestry, M&A, insolvency, arbitration and litigation.
He has played a pivotal role in assisting foreign investors with major M&A, tax planning, mining and corporate transactions – combined with the establishment of subsidiaries and branches of international firms in the DRC. His expertise extends to arbitration and litigation, where he has served as both an expert and legal counsel in such jurisdictions as Australia, Canada, France, England, Belgium, the US and South Africa.
