Prof. U.G.A. Puswewala has assumed duties as Chairman of the Uni-Consultancy Services in 2008 following the retirement of two Chairmans Prof. Dayantha S. Wijeyesekara(former Vice-Chancellor, University of Moratuwa) and Prof. Asoka Perera. He is former Dean, Faculty of Engineering, University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka.

Chartered Civil Engineer; and Fellow of Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka.
Member, Sri Lankan Geotechnical Society.
Member, International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering.

The Uni-Consultancy Services(UNIC), an Association affiliated with the Academic Staff of the University of Moratuwa, registered under the Company's act No. 07 of 2007, as a Company Limited by Guarantee carrying on its business at the University of Moratuwa. UNIC is managed by a board of managers consisting of the top management of the University of Moratuwa and act as a “Facilitator” for University Industry Interactions. Our primary objectives is the Effective and Efficient usage of vast expertise knowledge and experience which University of Moratuwa has, to meet the requirements of Sri Lankan Industry by sustainable development through Research and Development culture.
