Verita Legal (K. The firm is notable for advising lenders on some of the largest and most significant loans and restructuring on the island in recent years, including advising the lender/lead arranger on a >€100 million syndicated loan, advising a lender on a high-value single lender loan to a public company, and acting for a lender on the restructuring of a non-performing loan under LMA standards combined with a complex security package and debt-for-equity swap.
Moreover, the team is comprised of lawyers qualified in the Republic of Cyprus, as well as the UK. Its principal lawyers have held senior positions with blue-chip investment banks as well as prominent financial and investment firms, in Cyprus and abroad. Further, all of Verita Legal’s lawyers are graduates of leading European universities, and hold Master’s degrees in law in addition to their Bachelor degrees and other professional qualifications.
