Anthony S. Papadimitriou

Dr. Anthony Papadimitriou was born in Alexandria of Egypt in 1955. He is a prominent lawyer and economist. He graduated from the Athens University Law School in 1977 and holds a postgraduate degree in law from the University Aix-en-Provence (France). He obtained his PHD from the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at. the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He holds a B.Sc (Economics) Degree from the London School of Economics. He is a practicing lawyer and since 1989 he was appointed a lawyer to the Supreme Court of Greece. Since 1992 he is the managing partner of the legal firm of A.S..Papadimitriou and Partners. In 2005 he was elected President and Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the Foundation. In 2008 he was accepted as Honorary Master of the Bench of the Middle Temple.

From his positions both as a lawyer and as CEO of a large diversified investor, Anthony Papadimitriou has handled a large number of acquisitions and divestments, private equity deals, formation of companies, etc. in Greece and internationally.  Anthony Papadimitriou also has significant litigation experience in Greece, in the UK and in arbitrations. He is joined by a team of experienced and motivated lawyers with experience both in consulting and in litigation. The Firm is active in the current privatizations representing exclusively the private sector.
