Abdul Aziz Bensouda

Abdu Aziz Bensouda is a qualified Barrister and specializes in corporate and commercial law, telecommunications law, policy and regulation, competition law and policy, banking & finance, real estate, and Intellectual Property law. He assists and advises in finance and investment matters and commcercial acquisitions and sales. 

Mr. Bensouda obtained an LLB honours degree from the University of Hull, England. He proceeded to a LLM Masters degree in International Economic Law from the University of Warwick, England. He attended Bar School at BPP College of Professional Studies and was admitted to the Bar of England and Wales in July 2008 and thereafter to the Gambian Bar in that same year. He counsels clients both local and overseas on establishment, protection, and enforcement of existing and impending intellectual rights and capital, conducts IP due diligence, negotiates infringement and opposition settlements, and acts as legal representative in cases of infringement. He handles IP matters in The Gambia, Sierra Leone and Liberia.
