•Was admitted to the Law Faculty of the University of Coimbra, in December 1998, in the Legal and Business Sciences Section to perform assessments in the subject areas of Labour Law and Commercial Law (1998-2000)
•Assistant Lecturer at the International University of Figueira da Foz taught the subject areas of Comparative Commercial Law and Labour Law (1998-2000)
•Taught the subjects Fundamental Notions of Law and Law of Obligations as an Assistant teacher at the Superior Institute of Accounting (ISCA – Instituto Superior de Contabilidade) in Coimbra (1999-2000)
•Taught “Days of Labour Law” at the International University of Figueira da Foz, a lecture under the title “Flexibility in the Modern Labour Relationship” (2000)
•Formed part of the national Jury set up by the Law Faculty of the University of Coimbra that selected candidates for the Notary career. Focused on the assessment of the exams in the subject area Company Law (2000)
•Acted as a consultant in several law firms in various areas, especially in Commercial Law, Contract Law and Labour Law (2001-2002)
•Member of the editorial committee responsible for the journal of the Law Faculty of the Agostinho Neto University (2001-2004)
•Delivered lectures in the city of Lubango about the current reform of the Commercial Code and about globalization and the part played by the State in the Economy (2001)
•Participated in the organization of the Conference: “Angola: Law, Democracy and Citizenship” in Luanda, Angola (2001)
•Recruited through a public tender procedure set up by the Law Faculty of the University of Coimbra to be posted at the Law Faculty of the Agostinho Neto University in Luanda, Angola, under a cooperation agreement between the two institutions, to teach the subject areas of Law of Obligations and Commercial Law (2001-2003)
•Taught the subject areas of Commercial Law and Probate Law at the Law Faculty of the Lusíada University in Angola (2002-2003)
•Taught the subject areas of Contract Law, Commercial Law and Labour Law at the Law Faculty of the Agostinho Neto University, in Angola (2001-2003)
•Part of the group of Lecturers who were responsible for the first Masters Degree at the Law Faculty of the Agostinho Neto University, by a protocol between this institution and the University of Coimbra, having worked, in this Project, with Professor Coutinho de Abreu on the subject “Company Law” (2001-2003)
•Was the Director of the Law Faculty “Instituto Superior Politécnico Gregório Semedo.”, which is today the Gregório Semedo University (2004-2005)
•Is a member of the Portuguese Arbitration Association (APA – Associação Portuguesa de Arbitragem), since 2009
