Kazuhiro Yoshii

Kazuhiro Yoshii has been engaged in an extensive range of corporate legal practice at Anderson Mori & Tomotsune, especially in the fields of capital markets and investment funds, for more than 20 years.

In the capital markets area, he has been involved in global equity offerings (including global IPOs), issuance of various types of convertible bonds, stand-alone and program-based debt offerings, stock options and other stock incentive plans. He continuously advises non-Japanese clients such as a US banking corporation, a US credit card company, a Finland banking group, a Malaysian banking group and a German sovereign financial institution, in connection with corporate finance and disclosure matters in Japan.

In the investment funds area, he has been involved in public offerings and private placements in Japan of overseas investment funds established in various countries such as Cayman, Luxembourg, Ireland, Bermuda, Singapore and Hong Kong. He advises Japanese REITs (real estate investment trusts) in connection with equity and debt offerings in and outside Japan. He also advises Japanese asset management companies in connection with establishment and export of Japanese based contract-type investment trusts. He also acts as vice chairman of the self-regulation committee of The Investment Trusts Association, Japan.
