Managing partner, Mr Wolfgang Schubert, who is also leading the litigation practice group, has gained experience in more than 3,000 court and arbitral proceedings. He is highly respected among lawyers and has represented in the Kaprun case and Bawag case, both cases being one of the largest cases ever trialed in Austria. Mr Scheuba is currently acting on behalf of a major D & O liability insurance company in connection with the Immofinanz scandal in Austria. Aside from Boller’s focus on labour law, which has been growing strong over the years, he is very invested in the field of corporate and finance law. One of his focal points is the advising and representation of financial institutions and large and prestigious companies in their financing and granting of securities. 

Thus, BLS is particularly known for handling cases which greatly exceed the normal volume of documents and number of court hearings. The law firm has gained a special knowledge in the area of industrial damages, in particular acting on behalf of industrial insurance companies in the defeat of claims raised against their insurees.

In 2013, the independent certification body TÜV Austria Cert GmbH certified the business law firm’s quality management system, attesting to its practice and client orientation. BLS was the first Austrian law firm to undergo this examination.
