Jhonatan Espinosa is the Senior Manager of ECOVIS Ecuador, and the responsible of the quality control of the intermediate and final audit results. Mr. Espinosa started working in FST Financial Support & Tax in 2012 as an adviser. In 2015, he held the position of Audit Manager until 2016, when the firm became a member firm of ECOVIS International.
Jhonatan has over fifteen years of experience in providing auditing, tax, business consulting, and accounting, starting his career in the year 2000; with nine-years of experience in international firms such as Deloitte and Grant Thornton. In those firms, Mr. Espinosa performed auditing in a wide range of industries like manufacturing, oil and gas, commerce, services, and technology.
Mr. Espinosa received his degree on Commercial Engineering with a concentration on Financial Management from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador and holds his MBA degree from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Jhonatan is currently an Executive MBA candidate at IDE Business School in Quito. Mr. Espinosa is the acting Vice-President of The Ecuadorian-Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Quito, which promotes and develops business and investment opportunities between Ecuador and Canada.
