Pariyapol Kamolsilp

Pariyapol Kamolsilp, senior litigation partner with Kudun and Partners Limited, has extensive experience on dispute resolution, domestic and international arbitration extending to insolvency and bankruptcy. He started his legal career in 2007 grounded with an M&A focus and has become extremely adept at dealing with SEC issues. He has leveraged this experience to support Kudun and Partners Limited’s specialty in capital markets and M&A.

Pariyapol has spearheaded difficult cases representing hundreds of creditors objecting to rehabilitation cases for debt ridden publicly listed large industrial companies as well as major breaches of construction contract cases. His experience crosses a wide range of industries including major engineering and construction, steel, mining, energy and power generation as well as telecommunications having represented among others in the past five years:

- Advance Info Services Public Company Limited (AIS mobile phone operator) in challenging a former state enterprise of the Thai government.
- A major Japanese company against claims totaling USD 100 million in connection with its construction of a gas turbine power station in South East Asia.
- Posco Plantec (Thailand) Company Limited in relation to a breach of construction contract in the Thai Arbitration Institute (TAI).
- Triple T Broadband Public Company Limited – breach of agreements between two parties demanding payment of USD 112 million.
- Over 400 debenture holders of debentures issued by a major steel manufacturer who had petitioned for rehabilitation of substantial debt.
- Several key investors in objecting a rehabilitation request against one of the largest automotive parts companies in Thailand.
- Several major shareholders in a rehabilitation case and bill of exchange damages claim totaling THB 250 million.
