The Bar Association of India’s highest honour was conferred on Mr Nath by the chief justice and the law minister. At the invitation of the US State Department, Mr Nath, along with the president of the Bar Association of India, was invited to conduct a two day seminar on India’s commercial and corporate laws which was attended by many leading overseas lawyers. He was invited along with Mr P Chidambaram, finance minister and president of the Bar Association of India, to co-author a book on legal aspects of business in India.
