Jamal Alkaf is the managing director / legal advisor (Director of legal and finance) of SAHRA Consulting and has substantial years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He is working with SAHRA for over few years and worked with major projects and arbitration cases (both local and international) with big and renowned oil & gas companies/clients.
Jamal Alkaf was the legal advisor of the National Oil Company and the Ministry of Oil and Minerals of Yemen. One of his main projects of his work was to participate in drafting and negotiate the Production Sharing Agreements for Yemen third international biding round. Moreover, he was part of various committees at high government levels for various issues concerning oil and gas.
He is a Member to the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, among other institutions and professional societies.
Jamal Alkaf holds a degree in International Business Administration from the American Intercontinental University of London, a BA (Honours) in Business Law from Kingston University in London and LLM with distinction in Oil and Gas Law from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen.
