Members of this Department serve as general or special counsels to banks and financial institutions such as pension funds, handling a wide variety of financial contracts and transactions, e.g. suretyship, bank’s guarantees, letters of indemnity, domestic and international guarantee bonds, letters of credit, loans, current account operation, collaterals, assignments, factoring, leasing, contracts for mandate, and consultancy on anti-money laundering measures.

Senior Partner in Studio Legale Ichino Brugnatelli e Associati, Manuela Grassi leads the litigation and dispute resolution team focusing on banking and related fields – such as, investments by financial instruments, including derivative securities, compound interest, current account contracts, credit, suretyship and international guarantees, leasing, factoring – providing legal assistance and representation to banks and financial operators.
Manuela also advises company clients on corporate matters, with long expertise in bankruptcy/restructuring matters and commercial contracts.
Manuela has in-depth abilities in litigation and arbitration. She began her career in 1993, is enrolled as lawyer on the Milan Bar Association since 1996, and as “Cassazionista” since 2008 (qualified to practice before the Supreme Court).
Manuela holds courses as relator on banking law and litigation.
She also writes many articles for magazines specializing in banking and corporate law.
