A certified PPP expert with an LLM in Business & Commercial Law, Ms Ahmad Amin brings more than 15 years’ experience advising public and private entities. She has spearheaded landmark deals, such as: leading legal teams in Sukuk bond issuances for Adamawa State (₦25 billion), Gombe State (₦35 billion), Sokoto State (₦10 billion) and TAJ Bank’s ₦30 billion Sukuk issuance programme; acting as legal counsel on the ₦50 billion LFZC FUNDING SPV PLC bond issuance (Series 1–3); as well as representing clients in real estate-backed Islamic finance structures, such as Ijarah Sukuk and Halal fixed-income funds.

Since joining MetLaw in 2018, Mr Awwal Yunusa has contributed significantly to the firm’s growing corporate law practice. With a background rooted in litigation and ADR, he adds a critical layer of legal risk analysis to transactional engagements. His strengths in negotiation, drafting and regulatory compliance have proved invaluable in closing major deals.
