Steven joined Watson Farley & Williams in 1998 and is Head of the Bangkok office and Head of the Asia Dispute Resolution team.
Steven specialises in international litigation and, in particular, London and Asia‑based arbitrations involving energy and large scale project disputes. Steven has advised on renewable energy disputes in Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, India and China – all of which have involved arbitration and/or court litigation. Steven has used this know-how on commercial projects to help avoid disputes and manage risk.
He is cited in Legal 500 Asia Pacific and Chambers Asia Pacific directories as a ‘leading practitioner’ in dispute resolution work. Steven has also sat as an arbitrator on several occasions in ICC, SIAC, TAI and ad hoc arbitrations.
