Isel Bisonó joined the firm in 2010. She has five years of experience providing legal advice to clients of the firm’s intellectual property department, with a special focus on trademarks, trade names, patents, background searches and oppositions, domain names and copyright. Isel also provides assistance in obtaining health registrations for pharmaceutical, cosmetics, household goods and food and beverages companies before the Dominican Republic’s Ministry of Public Health. Moreover, Isel assists major banking institutions in drafting contracts, document review, and the management, registration and transfers of mortgage documents.
Isel received her Bachelor of Laws, magna cum laude, from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in 2009. In 2011, she graduated with a Master’s in Legal Practice from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra and the Pellerano & Herrera Foundation. She has attended courses and seminars on issues related to intellectual property, civil and commercial jurisprudence, among other subjects.
