Jambrik Law Firm was founded in 2006 by Dr. Gergely Jambrik, a lawyer.
In order to satisfy the needs of a constantly expanding and diversified domestic and international clientele, our services basically cover the area of economic law. Our legal consulting practice covers all branches of the classical civil law field (e.g. contract law, tort law), and we specifically specialize in copyright law, software law, IT law, trademark law, domain name and design protection matters, franchise law and related litigation as well as non-litigation representation
.
In addition to all of this, we regularly represent the interests of our clients in public procurement procedures, solving corporate law issues and public administration matters.
The office is still developing dynamically and adapting to the needs of customers. With a team of four highly qualified personnel with solid professional backgrounds, we are at our clients' disposal, serving both natural and legal persons (business companies, foundations and associations).
Gergely Jambrik
Dr. Gergely Jambrik is the Founder of the firm. He has more than 20 years' professional experience in the field of IP/IT and business law. In 1998, he obtained his diploma summa cum laude at the Faculty of Public Sciences & Law of Eötvös Loránd University. In 2000, he prepared his PhD dissertation within the framework of a research grant from The Hague. Prior to founding Jambrik Law Firm, he was a senior member of the international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, working in its IP/IT and Telecom-Media-Technology Group for several years.
His areas of expertise are software law, copyright, IT and e-commerce contracts, trademark law and Internet domain names, data protection law and advertising law, as well as IT and media law. He has published numerous publications and lectured on topics related to electronic commerce and the Internet.
He is a member of the Advisory Board of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Forum, and also acts as a decision-maker regarding domain names.
In addition to Hungarian, his working languages include English and German.
