Audrey Naa Dei Kotey
Managing Partner Audrey Naa Dei Kotey is a legal and finance professional with more than 18 years’ experience. A qualified lawyer and a member of the Ghana Bar Association, Ms Kotey is also a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) UK and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana (ICAG). Her dual qualifications in law and accounting uniquely position her to offer integrated solutions to complex corporate challenges.
Ms Kotey played a pivotal role in the development of Ghana's Companies Act, 2019 (Act 992), as well as the Corporate Restructuring & Insolvency Act, 2020 (Act 1015) – contributing to policy formulation and advocacy efforts. Furthermore, she is a founding member of the Ghana Association of Restructuring & Insolvency Advisors (GARIA), and serves as the Chair of its Technical, Education, Research & Publications Committee. She is a licensed insolvency practitioner (IP No 0003) and has administered complex insolvency cases, including the restructuring of NewGift Ventures Ghana Ltd, a mining services company.
Last, but not least, Ms Kotey has authored several insightful pieces, such as "Set-Off Under the Corporate Insolvency Act in Ghana", as well as "Netting Arrangements in Insolvency Proceedings" – contributing to the broader understanding of insolvency practices in the region.
