Dr. Meythaler has been a lecturer in panels summoned by the World Intellectual Property Organization. He has also given several conferences in specialized legal affairs, within and outside the country. Dr. Meythaler has written several articles in Administrative Law, Unfair Competition and Intellectual Property for specialized law magazines. His doctoral dissertation was about the Bolivarian Constitutional System and its background in the Roman Public Law.
Dr. Meythaler is considered a specialist in Public Law, Corporate Law, Competition Law, Intellectual Property Litigation, and expert in pharmaceutical topics. He is the current advisor of various Pharmaceutical and Agrochemical Research industries. Regarded as one of the most experienced lawyers in Latin America in Patent and Unfair Competition Litigation. He has led the most important cases of pharmaceutical patents defense in Ecuador.
