Mr. Xiang Gao graduated from Peking University, Beijing, China with a degree of Bachelor of Law in 1991, and he also obtained Master of Intellectual Property and Diploma of Advanced Licensing Institute from Franklin Pierce Law Center, Concord, NH, USA in 1997. Mr. Gao is registered to practice before the Chinese Trademark Office in 1995.
In 2004, he joined Peksung Intellectual Property Ltd. as a partner to handle trademark, copyright and domain name matters.
He is a member of AIPPI China and INTA.
He practices in all aspects of trade mark law, providing advice on trade mark clearance, prosecution, opposition, cancellation and enforcement in China. He also advises on and manages international trade mark portfolios for local and international clients.
In addition to his experience in all aspects of Chinese trade mark law, he is also in charge of copyright, domain name, and customs protection issues.
At all levels he is keen on identifying his clients needs and developing solutions which addresses those needs in the most comprehensive, timely and cost-effective manners.
He has published many articles on Chinese trade mark law and practice .
