She has practiced law for over 16 years with leading international and domestic law firms, including Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP (New York), Schulz Noack Baerwinkel (Germany) Shanghai Office and Jun He Law offices. Before joining the firm, she practiced with an international firm China Office as partner.

Helen is the member of the New York Bar Association, Inter-Pacific Bar Association and All China Lawyers Association. She was the first Mainland Chinese woman lawyer to be elected as Vice-Chair of the Women Business Lawyers Committee of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA) and is also active in the community of the Legal Academy which consists of lawmakers, judges and legal scholars.

Representative Work

• Advised on long-term negotiation, contract drafting and PRC legal advisory matters in relation to Disney IP rights imported and licensed for Shanghai Disneyland Project by representing the related Shanghai Governments and State Own Companies as the main IP legal counsel
• Retained as main legal counsel for technology and software copyright transfer and license involving millions of US Dollars and the first special restoration of pending patent right for STMicoelectronics
• Advised on IP cross border transaction from Invista US for Standard Fiber
• Advised on trademark infringement case for Volvo Trademark Holding AB
• Advised on trademark investigation, unfair competition and anti-counterfeiting for IDEO LLC
• Advising on PRC nationwide anti-counterfeiting and crackdown of false shops, supermarkets and their websites for the brand protection of “Trust-mart” for Wal-mart as one leading IP and disputing counsel
• Advised on the trademark infringement of “Crocodile” garments with Shanghai Customs for Japan Itochu Corporation
  Advised on anti-counterfeiting and false advertisement/promotional materials of PediaSure and Similac products for Abbott Nutrition International
• Advised and defended on anti-commercial bribery and corporate fraud for Wal-mart, Abbott, Federal Mogual, Gibson, JGC and Novartis.
